Club Membership

After completing a Learn to Paddle (L2P) course with CCDBC, new paddlers may either join the club straight away as a fully paid member or alternatively, they can register for Dragon Pass which gives unlimited paddling for 28 consecutive days. After this time, we hope you are hooked on dragon boating and paddlers are then required to become a fully paid member of Coffs Coast Dragon Boat Club if they wish to continue paddling. The club will endeavour to hold four L2P courses every year. This course is at a cost of $50.00 and will run once a week for about 5 weeks. If the paddler wishes to join the club, the $50.00 will come off their fee. To upgrade to a full member, the paddler will need to contact the Membership Officer.

An identity photo is required by DBNSW. See our Membership Officer to arrange your photo if you are new to our club.

Working With Children Check

It is the club's policy that all members have a current Working with Children Check. When you register online, it will ask you for your number (which we will need to verify). If you do not have one, you will need to apply online here after joining (free of charge) as a volunteer. After applying, you will be directed to go to Service NSW with your photo identification. Once you have received your certificate, please forward it to membership.officer@coffscoastdragonboatclub.com.au.
